The jury of experts to evaluate the applications will be comprised of up to 12 members, consisting of international experts from the backgrounds of youth activists and young entrepreneurs, journalists and media workers, researchers and teachers, representatives of relevant international organisations and partners.

The WSYA Gala events will take place from September 2nd to 5th in Monterrey, Mexico.

The four-day celebrations in Mexico will provide a unique opportunity to meet and connect with WSYA and WSA winners, ICT experts, business leaders, multimedia producers and creatives as well as government and business leaders who will be giving their recognition to the showcased best practice examples.

The World Summit Youth Award will focus on the use of the Internet and mobile applications to put the UN’s Millennium Development Goals into Action.
